I know you love your Z (don't blame the Z), but there are some things you still need to learn and that comes with bad experiences. First, I bought a crankshaft at a Nissan Dealer in Miami that ended up being a Nismo crankshaft. When you buy parts from any dealership, Nissan or any other manufacturer, verify the part number yourself unless you know the guy behind the counter personally and trust him. I say this because I trust my parts guy. Anyway, any parts guy worth his trust knows that the stock crankshaft is punched with codes which can then be cross-referenced to the bearing size. If they don't ask you for the code, don't buy from them. I didn't buy the crankshaft at CZP or Z1, since the owner of the shop where I used to take my Z told me to buy the parts there and he was supposed to pay for them, because his mechanics were responsible of my Z's engine damage...Anyway, at the end the guy never payed me back for the parts and he just payed the shipping to Peru and that's it. Never ever ever EVER do a shop's purchasing if it is work to be done under warranty. First, they have a reseller's permit (big assumption here), so they get wholesale prices -- you can't beat that price. Second, ANY trustworthy shop of ANY kind gets free shipping from their source. Then, when we figured out the Nismo crankshaft needed bigger bearings than the old Nissan's one, we ordered the bearings to Coz, since he knew a lot about this new crankshafts...My luck brought me almost 3 months of waiting just for the main bearing grade #5, since it was the new stuff and was on backorder. Should have went with Coz in the first place. On the luck comment, read the title of my post. ... some problems with the company in Miami (Alexim Trading) that takes care about my orders and ship them to my country...They lost US$500 in parts and they are just looking and looking for them and just haven't found them. By putting your trust into someone like Coz, you won't have shady shipping companies. I'm sure you went with this Trading company because Nissan doesn't ship to Peru directly, but I'm also sure that Coz would have chosen a better shipping company. I still put 51% (if not more) of the blame on you. Need I go further?
